Live below your means

                It sounds silly but you will quickly realize that once you quit trying to "keep up with the jones's " you will surpass them . I had these friends that owned a golf course and when we were out as a group, at a party or whatever people would be so impressed with them , they were in there 50's had a nice house, two new car's , owned a golf course.....
               Well what they did not know was that behind the scenes was a different picture . They had so much debt and not enough cash flow that they were constantly fighting and barely scraping by.  after a while they had a car repossessed then quickly came the house.
               The first time I retired I was 25 that lasted about six months. I got right back to work, not because I needed the money or was greedy but I wanted to live below my means like my idols Warren Buffett, Clark Howard, Suze Orman..  these people do not need to work but do it every day, hell Warren is a billionaire and his house is only worth $700,000 but he bought it in 1958 for $31,000 and has no reason to move or upgrade.
               Ok back to easy money , did you know that some people make up to $1,500 a month selling sperm , I am dead serious some people make $200+ a week doing this.
               some people also make easy money doing reservations at home for top hotels, yes some hotels will pay you to stay at home and answer your phone.
               There are plenty of real jobs at home , like sales jobs or call center jobs that pay you to talk on the phone and look at stuff on the computer , now I am not selling anything here but these are a few names of companies off the top of my head , you can tell that I am not a spammer because some of these companies are compettitors..  "working solutions" is one company "alpine acess" is another I beleive "life or live ops" is another I cant remember if it is life or live lol .. "willow" , cloud10, convergys now this may not be the correct spelling for some of these but they are real at home jobs and some of them , you will need experience .
                Another way I have made money on craigslist was to post a wanted ad for brass lamps or brass beds and I will get calls from people saying that I have a brass bed for sale for $25 or $30 so I will buy it and take it to the recycler or junk yard and sell it, I just wont tell the person I bought it from what my plans are , but most brass beds weigh 50 + pounds at $2.00-$2.50 a pound I can get $50 to $100+ profit for little to work . litterally someone is calling and paying me to bring a bed frame to the junk yard for $100 thats 30 or so min of work thats $3.33 a minute.  until next time...........

How i made it big

              I was selling car's , boats, RVs , quads. It was getting bigger and better with more profit. so i wanted to buy a business and quit my job . If you have thought about this consider purchasing an existing business it is easier and the hard work has been done , and there is a client base also . So what I did was buy into a business , an apartment complex . The owner was asking $50,000 for 25%, seller financing available . I reacted quickly paying $10,000 and financing the rest. this is sometimes a good opportunity , doing a partnership .

              Whatever you do even if you have little to know money , start with learning and do a lot of research like reading stuff like my long drawn out story can go a long way. You may not have the money now , but soon . You do however have a little time to learn, just pick the best bits and pieces of advice and make a custom plan for you . If you want to start or buy a business do the dirty work, like learn the laws and tax info etc. even before you have all the money to purchase , this will help you, and make you feel more comfortable.

               research the small stuff also, like when buying a car or? make sure you know all about it worth? options? current local market value is different than say blue book value , for example if I want to sell a John Deere tractor it may be worth $30,000 in some book somewhere but in the middle of L.A. its worth less because there is less of a market for it.

          OK now a few quick tips,

           Ebay . sell that crap in storage , if you are not using it. quick cash.

         These are only 2 ideas but if you do a bunch of little things they add up so quickly , if I can only make $30 profit off of an idea, but have 10 or 20 things per month making $30 profit , that's my electric bill and a few meals paid for.

          Get creative, I was driving down the street and saw an old big non running van for sale for $100.00 (it was hideous) and on blocks , I paid the man and I called the local junk yard and they paid me $250 and picked it up from the man's house , I made $150 bucks in about 30 minutes .

           I spoke before about playing the odds , like lottery , you will not win it is a waste of money , the odds are you are not going to be handed a lump sum of serious cash , so don't waste time . Start getting in the mind set of making money , talk with family ,friends. and the ideas will flow .

       Earlier I said do research , well the library has a lot of books , like the ones you see on TV infomercials, like the grants book , or books they sell at Barns and Noble can sometimes be found at the library.

How I got rich

              OK , so like a lot of people I used to bust by butt working for someone else , doing a very physically demanding job . I would get up at sunrise and work for twelve plus hours , get two twenty minute breaks and one thirty minute lunch, I had to move and pack boxes with 30 lbs of product and make a quota of  one box per minute , let me tell you how crappy and old that got .

               So I quickly got tired of working so hard just to make other people money and have idiot bosses watch over me and make decisions that affected my job from their air conditioned offices knowing that they could not do the job I had to do.

              Right , so I knew I was worth more than this and I was certainly smarter than the people I worked for so I had to come up with a plan to quit this dead end job. So I did like most people and try to figure out how much money per month after bills I had to work with , I had to start somewhere so I was able to scrape up $300.00 after bills and gas , food etc.

             With my $300.00 I had to find a way to make it grow , I knew this had to be a short term investment with a good return . I scoured the web and got know where, looked into stocks . friggin joke there , you see i am all about playing the odds and the odds in the stock mkt. were not in my favor, well not enough anyways.

              Then I found craigslist while I was searching the web , well what could I buy with $300.00? I searched and searched . Finally I found a car .... what? a car for $300, yup . The ad read 1987 Pontiac , not sure what the make is . sporty. this caught my eye for some reason , mainly because I was curious and who sells a car and does not know what it is?

              so I called the number and right away a lady answers , I am calling about the car, I said . You did not say much about it could you tell me more ? anyway this is a long drawn out story lets cut to the chase . the car was a Pontiac Fiero GT with 18,000 miles in mint condition , this car was worth around $8,000 dollars , yeah i bought it.

             The next weekend I sold the car, I was asking $5,000 and I got a call within 2 hours of putting it in the paper. I sold the car for $5,000 the man did not even haggle with me , I did not want to sell it for full price , reason #1 I got a great deal. reason #2 Karma it is real folks trust me .

              So profit can be made with very little money and a bit of smarts , check your state laws and see how many titled vehicles you can sell per year without having a dealers license this is a great way to make some cash but not all deals will go down like this, you need to expect sitting on your purchase for some time , I am all about selling something even if I only make two or three hundred profit . it is always about the "quick sale" don't be too proud or dumb and set a price so high that it takes forever to sell. if you have to do this to make a profit , you paid too much for the item.

           Also think ,the more expensive the item the greater the return , so if I sell a house I will make more money than if I sell a golf kart. so meet your limit with a titled vehicle then move to the smaller stuff like quads , go kart, or other non titled property.

          I was able to also look at my bills closer car insurance I switched companies and saved $375 a year just by shopping around , I bought bulk items that were sensible at places like Sam's and figured out i saved $1,200 a year planning more , I was spending like $35 a week on energy drinks so I cut those out completely and replaced them with tea at $10 a week .

        You just need to look at the big long term picture . so I  had made and saved $15,000 by my first year and then it was on , time to expand and quit my nowhere job......Next we will talk about buying a business, house etc.. to be continued......
